Dr Kat Aguilera

Meet Dr Kat
From the Frontline to the Stage
Dr Kat Aguilera is a trauma psychologist and a prominent UK voice on early intervention in operational stress and trauma. With over 15 years' experience working across frontline psychological services, she combines clinical expertise in treating military and emergency services personnel with organisational work focused on recognising the warning signs of psychological injury before people break down.
That experience gave her a close view of psychological breakdown at its most extreme, and a clearer view of what comes before it. The pattern is not confined to extreme work. It appears wherever the cost of failure is high, the pace does not let up, and the people who cope quietly are the ones everybody relies on. That describes a police force. It also describes a hospital, a trading floor and an executive team.
Dr Kat now brings that work to the stage, championing early intervention before operational stress and trauma cost organisations their best people.

She Moves The Room
Dr Kat speaks the language of the room. Her talks carry the weight of frontline psychological experience and the clarity of someone who knows exactly what is at stake. She combines this with storytelling that holds an audience silent from the opening line to the final takeaway, leaving them thinking differently about operational stress, trauma and early intervention long after the conversation ends.
